Information the app uses
The app uses camera access for preview and recording, microphone access only when audio recording is enabled, notifications for export status, and storage or media access for user-controlled save and share flows.
Local settings, recent-session references, teleprompter text, creator presets, brand-kit choices, free Pro allowance state, paid Pro entitlement state, and export preferences stay on your device. Android app backup is disabled.
Diagnostics and analytics
Nomad Camera may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Installations, and Firebase Sessions for reliability, analytics, crash reports, operational notices, and update prompts.
This may include app usage events, screen views, feature settings, app version, selected capture/export options, permission results, free Pro allowance state, paid Pro entitlement state, purchase-related product identifiers, app notice interactions, crash logs, diagnostics, installation identifiers, approximate location derived by Firebase, device information, IP address, and related technical signals.
What is not sent
Nomad Camera does not send recorded videos, teleprompter scripts, imported logos, intro videos, outro videos, exported files, contacts, precise location, advertising ID, payment card numbers, bank details, or account credentials to Firebase in this launch build.
Purchases
Paid Pro plans use Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment methods, checkout, taxes, renewals, cancellations, refunds, billing disputes, and store account issues. Nomad Camera can receive purchase status, product identifiers, purchase tokens needed to acknowledge purchases, and entitlement state needed to unlock Pro features.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising in this launch build. Google/Firebase processes diagnostics and configuration data as a service provider. Files are shared only when you choose Android sharing, open-in, media saving, upload, backup, or similar user-controlled actions.
Local files remain on your device until you delete them, hide them from the app list where supported, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Firebase diagnostics are retained under configured Firebase and Google retention controls.
Your choices
- Grant, deny, or revoke Android permissions.
- Turn audio recording on or off.
- Delete exports, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
- Choose whether to share, publish, back up, or open a file in another app.
